Relationship of Adaptation and Homesickness in Rantau Students in Faculty of Psychology of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto University

Today, many students use the term homesick to describe their situation when they miss family, are sick, or feel uncomfortable with in new environment. The subjects this selected by criteria were from Faculty Psychology, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, living boarding houses around campus not having relatives Purwokerto total 35 respondents. research used quantitative method for collecting data using adaptations scales Archer et al.'s Homesickness Questionnaire Behavioral Adaptation owned Umdatun Watsiqoh. results correlation test two variables, it shows that there no homesickness. has negative inversely related coefficient value -0.086, but was proven significant because significance obtained (p > 0,05).
